Ms Dorothy McKune, founder of The Alliance Of African Midwives visited Gansbaai Academia on the 24th March, 2011. She sponsors the annual Principal’s Award For Excellence and is on a visit to South Africa from Canada, where she is currently living.
She attended a luncheon hosted by the principal in the school restaurant and was introduced to the shool’s Headboy and Headgirl. She also met the first recipient of the award, Bea Fourie.
