The first issue of the as yet unnamed school newspaper was published on 7 March,2011.  It was a roaring success with over 250 copies sold to the learners.

The newspaper is the brainchild of Ms Liezel Mostert and an editorial staff consisting entirely of learners produced a fact-filled and easy to read first issue. It was launched without a name and there is a cash prize for the best name submitted by 23 March,2012. The goal of the editorial staff is to publish two issues per term. It would be appreciated if any sponsors would like to participate in this wonderful project by sponsoring issues, pages or just by advertising in the newspaper. They can be contacted via our contact page on the website.
